Niche.com released its new list of the “2023 Best Cities to Live in America.” According to Niche.com, they evaluate different factors to help them rank the cities, such as “quality of schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities.” A city in Montgomery County continues to hold a high ranking among their list. Can you guess which one?
Niche Rankings
The Woodlands holds the strong position at #3 among all cities in the United States. Cambridge, Massachusetts beat out The Woodlands and was awarded the #1 city in which to live. Arlington, Virginia came in 2nd place. Out of the top 12 best cities in America, three are in Texas. The other two are Plano at #11 and Richardson at #12. Overall, Texas has a good showing in this year’s list.
The Woodlands
Last year, The Woodlands was honored to receive the #1 position. You can read about what makes The Woodlands so great in, “The Number One Place to Live.” However, it is still an honor to be named the 3rd best city in the United States in 2023. The Woodlands has consistently been a wonderful place to live, work, play, and/or raise a family. Between its location, great schools, and its support of the Arts, it is not surprising that this city ranks so high.
The Woodlands’ report card is outstanding! It earned an A+ in the “public schools” and “good for families” categories. In addition to be one of the best cities to live in America, The Woodlands is the #1 city to buy a house in America. And, it is the #2 city to raise a family in America. It has the #6 public school system in America. Last but not least, The Woodlands is the 7th best city in which to retire in America. It is a great city in which to live regardless of your phase in life.
