Many families in the Montgomery/Lake Conroe area look for a church service to celebrate Easter Sunday. Many local churches plan for large crowds on special occasions. Good Friday Service
Tonight the church recognizes Good Friday, which commemorates the death of Jesus. The service begins at 7:00 p.m. According to its Facebook page, ” we worship Christ who humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross!”
Easter Sunday Service
Since Easter is a popular day to attend church, Lakeside’s leadership has added a second service to its usual schedule. Therefore the first service begins at 8:30 a.m. while the second service starts at 10:30 a.m. Unlike most Sundays, there will be no additional classes or activities that day.
What to Expect
Lakeside Bible Church is a non-denominational church. It practices expository preaching, which details the meaning of a specific part of scripture or text. The church’s teaching is also centered on the Gospel. This is simply the Good News of Jesus Christ and the way of salvation.
Also worship is a huge part of why members assemble together; therefore, a worship team leads the church attendees in song and praise. Musical instruments are used. In case you are unable to leave your home or you are still isolating yourself because of COVID, you can still participate in the Easter service.
