Conroe Showcase

Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States, but just north of its hustle and bustle lies Conroe, Texas. Today we are highlighting this fast-growing city with historic roots. Enjoy the Conroe Showcase and learn why it is a great place to live.

History

Conroe is named in honor of Isaac Conroe, who built a lumber mill sometime after 1881. The area is rich in timber, which made the location perfect for milling. Additionally, the railroad runs through the town making it easy to ship the lumber. Therefore, lumber helped build the town and then of course later came the oil industry, which also drove its growth. Recently, Conroe was named one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.

Conroe native, Kyler Ferris, showcased his hometown in a video. It is a great resource for anyone wanting to see how their city is portrayed or for anyone looking for a new place to call home. Kyler explores the history, the lake, breweries, restaurants, and other amenities that make Conroe a great place to live. From the airport to the fairgrounds, he does a great job showing what Conroe has to offer. This video is truly a Conroe showcase.

Towards the end of the video, Kyler takes you around to different neighborhoods to show you what you can get for different price points. Homes in Conroe vary widely. From over a million dollars to $200k, your next home awaits. Let me help you find it.

Another option is to build. In fact, I currently have a couple of lots for sale if you want to build your own dream house. Check them out! Lot 15-C on Beech Drive and 12212 Pebble View Drive.
