Full of Thanksgiving

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.Psalm 9:1

When I reflect upon this past year, I am full of thanksgiving. I am overwhelmed by God’s grace in my life. 2020 has been a year that I could not have imagined nor predicted. One filled with upheaval, anxiety, and strife. And yet, it has been a time that has drawn me to God in dependence and in trust. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20). God has surely done far more abundantly than I ever thought possible this year. As much as I would like to recount every wonderful deed in this post, there is not enough time or space. So I will just hit the highlights.

Unexpectedly, the real estate market boomed in the midst of a pandemic. I began writing about this phenomena in “2020 Surge in Lake Real Estate” back in August. Then Mike Goins’ interviews with the Houston Chronicle also took off where he described the market as a “feeding frenzy.” You can read about it here. Therefore, sales for Mike Goins Real Estate this year have surpassed last year’s sales. This is truly amazing in light of everything!

In short, Mike Goins Real Estate has had a great year. In fact Mike Goins received the Big Wave Award from Lake Homes Realty for the second year in a row. Another amazing feat! When things seem unlikely or unexpected, that is when I know to look up. Therefore, we assuredly are thankful to God, the giver of all good things. To Him be the glory!

In addition to our gratitude to God, we are also thankful for our families and friends. Without their support, we could not invest so much time into the business and our clients’ lives. Additionally we are, of course, grateful for our clients. We literally would have no business without people buying and/or selling their homes and properties.  We thank each of you for choosing Mike Goins Real Estate.

From each of us, we wish you and yours a “Happy Thanksgiving!” May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may He fill your hearts full of thanksgiving.
