July 4th Events

We will celebrate our independence from Britain this Sunday on July 4th. Most people in the Lake Conroe area cook out, swim, and hang out at the lake to celebrate. The majority of people want to see fireworks of some kind, too. Fortunately, there are several options for July 4th Events and I will break them down for you.

Bentwater

This gated community on Lake Conroe is hosting its July 4th Party and opening it to the public for free. Special activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m. at the Bentwater Yacht & Country Club. An inflatable corn maze, a Viking axe throw, and video game trucks are just a few of the many family-friendly and fun activities planned. There will also be food available and music by DJ Gordy. At 9:15 p.m. the climax of the night will begin with a firework show sponsored by the Bentwater POA. For more information, check out their 4th of July Celebration Facebook page. It will have the exact address and more.

The Woodlands

The 24th Annual “Red, Hot, and Blue Extravaganza” is also on Sunday, July 4th in The Woodlands.  The township is hosting a variety of July 4th events all day long at different locations, including a parade, live entertainment, and fun activities. To read more, check out their site. They will also have an 18-minute fireworks show beginning at 9:30 p.m. Again this too will have several locations with the primary location being the Northshore Park on Lake Woodlands. To ensure that you have the best vantage point for viewing the firework display, they will have a few teasers go off earlier at 9, 9:10, and 9:20. This event is sure to be a fun day for the whole family.

Tomball

Another community close to the Lake Conroe area is hosting a July 4th party. Tomball, Texas will close some of its streets from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m and celebrate Independence Day with a July 4th Celebration & Street Fest. They will have entertainment, food, music, and more. It will also be another place to watch a great fireworks display. Admission and parking is free for this annual event. Check out their website for exact addresses and more information.

Bentwater, The Woodlands, and Tomball are three great options for you to see fireworks and celebrate our Independence Day with communities in or close to the Lake Conroe area. Fireworks, food, and fun activities are all great ways to celebrate our freedom on July 4th.
