Between the lake and city, there is always something to do in the Lake Conroe area. This coming Saturday, June 18th, there are several big events that you can attend. We wanted you to know about them. There is nothing worse than finding out about an event important to you and it is too late. Therefore, here are the June 18th events coming to our area.

Summerfest Artisan Market

Do you love finding handmade jewelry or original art? Then come to the Summerfest Artisan Market. The B52 Brewery is hosting it this Saturday, June 18th at 12470 Milroy Road. From art to bath & body, from plants to culinary products, from accessories to jewelry, artisans will showcase their best. You might even find something for you dad for Father’s Day. Support Texas artisans and get cool products in exchange.

Conroe Cruisers Car Show

Take dad out to the Conroe Cruisers Car Show this Saturday. Check out some of the coolest rides from classic to innovative. Admission is free. The parking lot of the Outlet Mall off of League Line Road will be filled with cars and trucks for your viewing pleasure. Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. enjoy the cars, music, and food trucks. High Caliber Gun & Knife Show

Another potential Father’s Day gift is the High Caliber Gun & Knife Show. It will be Saturday and Sunday at the Lone Star Convention Center. Saturday it runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10, but children under 13 are free as are uniformed law enforcement. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent.

Over 100 vendors are coming to show their guns, knives, coins, and camo. Be prepared to buy, sell, or trade with them. To learn more, click here.

Juneteenth Celebrations

Sunday, June 19th is not just Father’s Day; it is also Juneteenth. The day that commemorates when slaves in Texas found out they were free. There are many different celebrations being organized in the Lake Conroe area. Instead of going through all of them, I will just link directly to the Conroe Courier article.
