The Best Discount Appliance Stores

Regardless of how well you take care of your home, appliances are going to go out eventually. Of course, you can always go to Best Buy, Home Depot, or Lowe’s and get top-of-the-line appliances. However, sometimes it’s nice to sort through and find great appliances for discount prices. Therefore, today we are going to explore the best discount appliance stores in the Lake Conroe area.

Appliance Outlet Texas

Appliance Outlet Texas sits at 904 Wilson Road in Conroe. It has a large selection of scratch and dent appliances from washing machines to refrigerators.

William’s Appliances 4 Less

This store’s location is in Suite 100 at 3570 FM 1488 in Conroe. They claim that their appliances are 1/2 off and look to have a great selection.

Best Buy Outlet

I chose to put this outlet store last because it is not in the Lake Conroe area. It is in Tomball right off of HWY 249. However, I personally have had so much luck here that I felt it would be remiss to leave it off this list. They do have deep discounts on a variety of appliances.

Personal Experience-

After 25 years, my oven recently went out. Thankfully, I was able to find a replacement gas oven and range at the Best Buy Outlet. The dent is on the side that goes into the cabinet so it looks perfect installed. We spent $680 on a stainless gas range with five burners and a convection oven. Its retail price was just over $1800 and it works perfectly.

Then a few weeks later my fridge went out. So of course, we headed over to the Best Buy Outlet. At first, I was discouraged by the prices. I didn’t realize how expensive refrigerators were. However, we were able to find a beautiful LG stainless French-door refrigerator for $800. Its retail price is $2,335. It has a light scratch on the door that I don’t even notice and a small dent that I covered with a pretty magnet.

Tips for Discount Appliances

Know that the appliances are discounted for a reason. Typically they have some kind of damage like a scratch or dent. When shopping, check for damage. Then make sure that all the handles, shelves, drawers, and other parts are present and working. Many of the appliances have sticky residue left from either shipping or stickers. A combination of rubbing alcohol and white vinegar removes the residue with little effort and doesn’t damage stainless steel. The good thing is that most stores offer some timeframe in which to return items if there are issues you cannot foresee.

Shop for discount appliances at these local stores for any of your needs. From robotic vacuums to stackable washer and dryers, you will not be able to find better deals than at the best discount appliance stores. Happy Shopping!
