2021 CASA Benefit Concert

Are you looking for a way to get involved in the community? Do you want to support organizations that work on behalf of children? Well if you answered both questions in the affirmative, then this Saturday you have an excellent opportunity. In order to raise funds for its work in Montgomery County, Deep in the Heart of Texas, a 2021 CASA Benefit Concert, will be held in The Woodlands. Therefore, let’s explore what it supports, who will perform, when it will occur, and how you can get involved.

What: Raising Funds For CASA

First, CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. A CASA volunteer is a “trained citizen appointed by a judge to represent a child victim in a case of abuse and neglect.” According to their website, “CASA has been best described as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the court and often acts as the ‘arms and legs’ of an overworked child protective system.” Simply put, CASA speaks for kids. They give voices to minors in often very bad situations. They advocate for children. Regardless if do not have the skills required to volunteer or have the time to spend, you can still participate in their important work. Support and/or attend the 2021 CASA Benefit Concert.

Who: Entertainment

Cory Morrow will entertain the crowd from the main stage of the pavilion on March 6th. He is a popular country music artist and loves to put on a great show. The Cory Morrow Band will perform a full concert, not just a few songs.

Before he takes the stage, guests will eat dinner, watch a special program about CASA, and take part in a silent auction. They are even raffling off a pair of diamond earrings. Furthermore, embrace the theme and dress in your best “Texas Chic” attire.

When: Date, Time, & Place

The 2021 CASA Benefit Concert will be held Saturday, March 6th beginning at 5 p.m. at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The address is: 2005 Lake Robbins Drive.

In conclusion Nelson Mandela said, “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than in the way it treats its children.” Undoubtedly considering the many sold out ticketing slots, the Montgomery County community seeks to stand with our children. Fortunately, it is not too late to participate. Enjoy a beautiful night under the Texas sky, learn more about CASA and their needs, listen to The Cory Morrow Band, and help raise funds to care for more children in crisis.
