P.S.A.—Mother’s Day 2024 is this Sunday, May 12th. This year is flying by fast so it was a surprise to me as well. Today we will be looking at local places you can support with your Mother’s Day gifts this year.

Montgomery has many boutiques offering a variety of lovely items. If you don’t know exactly what your mom or spouse would like or what size, you can always get her a gift certificate or take her shopping. Plus, they also have items like accessories, jewelry, and/or candles that are usually safe choices.
Gypsy Buffalo– This boutique features women’s clothing, including plus sizes, and so much more.
The Rancher’s Daughter– This boutique features eclectic gifts for your home and Texas wines. It also carries purses, jewelry, and more.
Ruthie Grace– This boutique features women’s clothing, jewelry, and accessories. They have everything from graphic tees to date night dresses.
Six Shooter Junction Boutique– This boutique offers a wide variety of women’s clothing and fashion accessories. It also has many plus-sized options.
Of course, there are other boutiques in the area, especially in the Waterpoint Marina area. And, Conroe has many great places to shop, too.
Local Bakeries & Coffee Shops
Whether you order cookies or take your mom to a local coffee shop, Montgomery has options. You could also purchase gift cards so that she could treat herself throughout the year.
Woods Cakery Bakery– This bakery offers handcrafted cookies and cakes made to order.
Perfect Blend Coffee Shop– This coffee shop offers everything from cappuccinos to lattes as well as gifts for your mom or spouse. It is a perfect place to take her for a coffee date, too.
Trixies Coffee Shop– This coffee shop has beverages, of course. You can also purchase different roasts to enjoy from the comfort of your home.
Wilderlove Coffee– This coffee trailer is located in Meadow to Market off of 2854, which would also be a fabulous place for a date with your mom.
Local Pampering Spots
Malibu Nails and Spa– A great place for manicures and pedicures. They also offer other services like eyelash extensions.
There are other places to pamper your mom, including Lavender Nails and Nails & Spa.
Pamper your mom at places like Massage Envy, Elements Massage, and other local businesses. You could also go all out with a spa day at Margaritaville Lake Resort.
Local Restaurants
Restaurants are usually full on Mother’s Day as families want to give their mom or spouse a day off from cooking. From steaks to Tex-Mex, there are plenty of options. Here are a few in Montgomery.
Pizza Shack– This local eatery has everything from pizza to cajun pasta, different salads, and great desserts from Montgomery Bakehouse.
Ransom’s Steakhouse– This steakhouse has also serves chicken, pork, fish, and of course steak.
