Two New Developments

Last week I told you about a new development being created in Plantersville called The Cedars. It is not the only one in the works. There are two new developments coming to Montgomery County. Let’s look into both and learn what their plans are.

Signorelli Company

Honestly we don’t know much about this development. Much of it is still in the planning stages. According to Community Impact, the Signorelli Company is notorious for building intentionally for the community’s needs. So we can assume they are researching the needs of residents in Montgomery County before releasing more information.

However, this is what we do know. The location of the community will be on 256 acres near the Lone Star Executive Airport and the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. About 840 homes will be built on the acreage. In addition, there will be space for an elementary school, which would expand Conroe ISD. To read more, click here.

Homes will be finished by 2023 and the school should open in 2024. You can suggest names for the school here.

Redbird Meadow

This new development will be in Montgomery off of Old Plantersville Road by Redbird Meadow. They have 390 acres on which they will develop about 550 homes. They also plan to be done with Phase One of their plan in the fall of 2023.

Currently the city of Montgomery and Redbird Meadow have reached an agreement about city water and sewer. The developer will have to install the lines on the property, but the city will provide the services. This is roughly an additional $1.5 million investment for Redbird Meadow.

One cannot deny the growth in Montgomery County. After all, two new developments are coming. One in Conroe and one in Montgomery. Between the fact that The Woodlands is the #1 Best City to Live In according to Niche and Conroe is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation, it should be no surprise that new developments are moving into the area. Ready or not, here they come.
