Lara DeHavenCommunity Events, Lake Conroe, Montgomery County, music festival

Get ready for lots of live music and fun at the Lone Star Luau at Lake Conroe’s Margaritaville Resort. The indoor concert event will be held indoors so you don’t have to worry about the fickled Texas weather. Here are all the important details.

Date & Time

The concert event kicks off on Friday, February 4th at 1:00 p.m. It goes all night until 11:00 p.m. and ends with an after-party at the Boathouse. On Saturday, February 5th, the music starts early at 10 a.m. and ends the same as the prior evening. Then on Sunday, February 6th, music begins at 10 a.m. and goes until 3 p..m.

Performers

The most famous performer at the Lone Star Luau is Gary P. Nunn. He has been performing country music since the 1970s. His most famous song is probably the “London Homesick Blues.” The founders of this music festival are a married couple and duo, Thom & Coley Shepherd. Two years ago they won the TRMA and People’s Choice Awards Duo of the Year. You will recognize some of the other performers like Kyle Hutton or Donny Brewer. However the point of the Lone Star Luau is to expose you to new music and new performers. For a complete list and schedule, click here.

Tickets

It does not matter how great the concert event is if you don’t have a ticket. There are single day tickets for Friday as well as tickets for the entire event. Sponorships are also available as well as RV parking passes. Some tickets are sold out. For ticketing information, click here. The capacity for the Ballroom venue at Margaritaville is 600 so secure your ticket today before they run out.

Charities

The Lone Star Luau at Lake Conroe has selected to work with two worthy charities. The first is Operation Song. Its mission is “to empower veterans, active duty military, and their families to tell stories through the process of songwriting.” The second is Fisher House. The foundation builds homes where military and veteran families can stay for free while a loved one is in the hospital. Obviously the founders of this event want to support the military and veterans with these choices. You can donate directly to Operation Song on the ticketing page.

So mark your calendars, clear your schedules, and get your tickets for a fun-filled weekend at the 6th annual Lone Star Luau at Lake Conroe.
