Montgomery from a Real Estate Agent's Perspective

Montgomery, Texas is a great place to live with a rich history and a great future. It continues to grow while still retaining its charm. If you are from Montgomery, you will love to see it through a real estate agent’s eyes. If you want to move to Montgomery, this video shares a plethora of information, especially regarding housing. So enjoy this video featuring Montgomery from a real estate agent’s perspective.

Kyler Ferris, an agent, with eXp Realty has a YouTube channel called, Living in Houston Texas. In the above video, he expands into Montgomery, Texas. Mr. Ferris describes the city at “classy country.” I love that he highlights so many local businesses like Longview Greens and Trixie’s Coffee Shop.

What Makes Montgomery a Great Place to Live?

Housing-

Essentially, Mr. Ferris boils it down to the variety of housing. There are apartments, condominiums, and town homes. In addition, there are single-family homes to ranches to multi-milliion dollar estates. You can live on Lake Conroe, near the lake, or on your own sprawling ranch. There are plenty of golf courses, too. Pretty much, if you can dream it, you can find it in the Lake Conroe area.

Amenities-

Just like the variety in housing options, there are also numerous amenities in Montgomery. From the Margaritaville Lake Resort along the shores of Lake Conroe to Waterpoint Marina, Montgomery offers fun, dining, and shopping. Of course, there is the lake, which is a huge draw offering recreational activities like fishing, boating, and tubing.

The only thing I disagreed with in the video was the inclusion of Bernhardt Winery. It is not in Montgomery or even Montgomery County. The winery is in Plantersville, a town in Grimes County. However, it is an easy drive from Montgomery.

Schools-

Montgomery ISD has two high schools, Montgomery High and Lake Creek. Both schools are rated 5A schools, which means the student population is over 1500 and less than 2200. Additionally, both high schools have received an A accountability rating. Niche.com ranks MISD #112 in the state of Texas out of 1,052 districts.

Montgomery from a real estate agent’s perspective is a great place to call home. The variety of housing, the amenities, and the school district combines to create a great environment for people of all ages. Of course, if you want to buy in Montgomery, call Mike Goins at 936-444-5929. He is a lake expert and knows the community well. He would love to help you move into the Lake Conroe area.
