The countdown continues to the 2021 Montgomery Wine & Music Festival. It starts tomorrow! This is an annual community event held in Montgomery highlighting Texas wineries and music. It is a great place to sample local wines from numerous wineries. Here are all the details.
Date and Time
Tomorrow on Saturday, September 18th come to Historic Downtown Montgomery to attend the festival. It begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 9 p.m.
Wines
Over 40 wines from about 15 Texas wineries will be showcased at the festival. It is the perfect place to sample relatively local wines. Napa Valley might be the most famous wine country in the United States, but the Texas climate is suitable for growing grapes as well. Enjoy a taste of Texas as the different winemakers descend on our community. Wineries like Bernhardt, Messina Hof, and Pleasant Hill will be there. Music
Nothing pairs better with wine than music. Live music will fill the air with different bands throughout the day. In fact they need two stages to entertain all the attendees. On the main stage, you can expect Kyle Park to close down the festival. While on the Woodforest Bank stage, Josh Fuller will treat guests with his country music. Family-Friendly Event
Even though it is a festival highlighting wine, this is an event for families. Children are welcome. In fact Sonic is sponsoring activities specifically for children. The best part is that a wristband to play is only $5.00. However, you must supervise your own children. In addition for members of your family who prefer beer to wine, they will have a Beer Garden with addtional beer tents throughout the festival. Therefore, you don’t have an excuse to not attend.
