Many churches offer Christmas Eve services in the Lake Conroe area. Some are candlelight services, some are more singing or concert-like, and all lead attendees to focus on the birth of Jesus. Some are even on Thursday night. However, I want to highlight one church. Lakeside Bible Church has an annual Christmas Eve service. This year is no different. It is preparing to open its doors for its members, guests, and the community.

Date and Time

On Friday, December 24th at 7:00 p.m. the church service will begin at Lakeside Bible Church. Get there a little time in advance to make sure you get a good seat. The church is off of Freeport Drive in Montgomery near Stewart Creek Elementary. Their physical address is: 18940 Freeport Drive.

What to Expect

The Christmas Eve service will start with a special Christmas concert. Sing along or just listen to music that will focus your mind on Christ’s birth. The church uses musical instruments with a band. To hear examples of the worship music, you can listen here. Following the special music, Ken Ramey, the pastor, will deliver a message. It will include the Gospel, which is the whole reason that Jesus came. If you are not familiar with the reason we celebrate Christmas, you can always read, “The True Reason for the Season.” Then with your hearts full, you will have an opportunity to sing again at the end together with everyone else in attendance. Expect to be moved and to have your hearts overflow with gratitude for what Jesus has done and is doing in your life.
