Montgomery celebrates Christmas and the holiday season well. There are community events throughout December. Today, we are going to explore the most fun local Christmas events in Montgomery, Texas.

Sip-n-Stroll

There are two Sip-n-Stroll events in downtown Montgomery this December. Both are on Thursday evenings beginning at 4 p.m until 7 p.m. The dates are December 7th and 14th. Expect to stroll through historic downtown with the opportunity to support local businesses and vendors. There will be food trucks, live music, and plenty of chances to do your Christmas shopping.

Historic Christmas Parade

Beginning at 10 a.m. the annual Historic Montgomery Christmas Parade kicks off downtown on Saturday, December 9th. Get into the Christmas spirit watching floats and organizations decked out for the season. Also, enjoy the Holiday Market and tour historic homes. It is a great way to feel part of the community.

Snow Party

It might not snow here often, but the city of Montgomery is bringing it to the public with its 3rd Annual Snow Party. Come out to 777 Clepper on Saturday, December 16th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to play in the snow. Sledding and playing in the snow is free to the public. You won’t want to miss this Christmas event.
