Shea Homes

If you haven’t noticed, the Lake Conroe area is booming. Conroe itself is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States of America. Potential homeowners find that the inventory is low, which makes the seller’s market quite competitive. Good news for those looking to move! Shea Homes is moving into the Lake Conroe area.

Shea Homes

The developer, Shea Homes builds houses and communities around the USA. In Texas, they have added homes and neighborhoods around the Houston area. In places like Humble, Katy, Spring, and Missouri City, you can live in a house built by Shea Homes. Harper’s Preserve is their other community in Conroe. Now they are expanding north along FM 242 and FM 1314 to an additional neighborhood in the Conroe area. Home sales should start in mid to late 2022.

Evergreen

Evergreen is the name of the “second and largest residential development in the Houston area,” according to Community Impact. Shea Homes is planning to develop 740-acres and build a total of 2,000 homes within the development. They selected the location carefully. One of their vice presidents said, “This location has excellent accessibility to the Grand Parkway, The Woodlands, and the airport..”

Amenities

Evergreen will have a fabulous location, in which you can enjoy all the conveniences of different cities. With the airport within an easy commute the world is yours. Additionally, the development will have other more rural, slow paced amenities to enjoy. Forget you are in the city with about 100 acres of planned green space. They want to preserve as much of the natural environment as possible, including a winding creek. Imagine trees, wildlife, grass, and a creek anchoring you in nature. Other amenities will most likely be quite typical of neighborhoods like parks, swimming pools, and outdoor areas to gather. However, they are not spelling out what amenites they will offer at this time.

The Lake Conroe area will continue to grow because of its location to Houston and the airport. In addition, the area has good schools and is close to both Lake Conroe and the Sam Houston National Forest. Now residents and those moving in will have a new place to check out next year, Shea Homes.
