Lovingly speaking truth is a valuable characteristic to have, especially for a Christian. Ephesians 4:15 says, “rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, …(who) makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Based on this verse, a local church has hosted an annual Truth in Love Conference for years. Therefore, I wanted to highlight this relatively local event today. Here are this year’s details:

Theme: Discernment, Faith, and Fidelity to the Truth

Cost: $35.00 a person

In a world that is so divisive and hostile to differences of opinion, learning to say the truth lovingly is invaluable. To have a church abound in love and stand for truth would drastically change the climate of our nation. According to their website, this conference seeks to show “how Christians must cultivate a life of godly discernment centered around the preaching of the Word of God.
