Tomorrow is a big day in the Montgomery/Lake Conroe area. Last week I described the community events in detail that will occur in Montgomery. Click here to read more. So after a day of fun activities and shopping in the community, come out to enjoy the Christmas Boat Parade of Lights on Lake Conroe.

People from the community will gather once more to enjoy lights, boats, and the Christmas spirit. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. It departs from Harbor Town on Lake Conroe Lighthouse and ends at the Waterpoint Marina. Anywhere along the parade route will be a great place to watch the parade, especially if you live on the lake. However if you do not live along the parade route, event organizers say that the best viewing spot is at the Waterpoint Marina. I would get there early to get a prime seat.

To ensure you enjoy a great view of the parade as well as dinner many local restaurants are offering specials. For example, Walden Lakeview Dining offers a Mingle and Jingle event, which begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.  You can order from their full menu and enjoy live music, but reservations are required. Next door the Breakwater Grille will have its heated patio ready along with live music. It will be first come, first served. Other places like Margaritaville Lake Resort, Pappa’s on the Lake, and Wave Restaurant on Lake Conroe are offering other specials. To get all the details and the parade route, click here.

Afterwards both Margaritaville and Pappa’s on the Lake will have an after party. Waterpoint Marina is full of shops and restaurants, too. Therefore there are plenty of ways to see the free parade of lights on the lake as well as a many local businesses that you can choose to support. Enjoy the local community with events like the 2020 Christmas Boat Parade of Lights on Lake Conroe. It is sure to be a special evening.
